Gardiner, the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, is a small town with lots of character.  Gardiner boasts a host of unique and creative events each year.  No matter what your tastes, you are certain to find an event for you in Gardiner this fall.

September 27 at Arch Park, right near the entrance to Yellowstone, the Gardner Annual Brewfest kicks off.  A huge hit with Montanans, the Brewfest begins with live music starting at 3:00 in the afternoon.  Various microbreweries from around the region are represented, armed with samples of their favorite brews.  Brats and burgers are ready to fill your stomach, and the Bartenders Olympics provides merry entertainment for all.  The festivities continue well into the evening.  Come and be prepared to get your drink on!

The Annual Rummage Sale is on November 6, sponsored by the Little People’s Learning Center.  Held at the Mammoth Community Center, this event presents a great opportunity to find some incredible deals on whatever you may need.  And when we say whatever, we mean whatever.  You’d be surprised at the things you can find at a rummage sale.  A friend recently found

Not really an event, but of definite note, is that after November 3 at 8 AM, all roads into the Park are closed.  The only road in the entire Park that is open year round is the North Entrance (aka Gardiner) to the Northeast entrance at Silver Gate and Cooke City.  Snow tires and/or chains may be required, and the roads may close temporarily due to bad winter storms, but if you want to drive your car in the Park, Gardiner is your chance.
