This email came in yesterday from Bob W. in North Carolina. We suggested to Bob that he and his buddies think about the Snake in the Park as they come up from Jackson – it’s been fishing well and is very often overlooked. It’s probably too early, but it even made us think about the Lewis Channel in the fall – wahoo!
Hope the hurricane isn’t impacting your weekend too much, Bob. Stay safe and think about Yellowstone….
Thanks for a great & informative site!
Three flyfishing friends & I will be in the YNP area Sep 13 thru 20. Your site has helped greatly in our planning - gear selection, fly tying, general prep, anticipation. We’ll fly into Jackson & fish our way up through YNP to Chico & over to Slide Inn toward the end of the week. We have floats planned for the Yellowstone, Madison (hope the dam is fixed by then!), Henry’s Fork, as well as a hike-in and a day on the Gallatin.
So much water, so little time…..
Your site helps remove confusion from the planning.
Thanks again!
Bob W
Bob – you’re as right as can be about the “so much water, so little time….”
