Amazingly there’s some rain around today - we’ve awoken to clouds here in Bozeman, and checking the radar there’s a fair amount of rain around.  The weather wizards are even suggested we have a 6 in 10 chance of rain this evening and tonight in Bozeman…..

Looks like from the radar that the rains early this morning will most likely have affected the upper Madison and the upper Gallatin drainages - the Gallatin may stain or worse today pending rainfall amounts.  There are still showers forming in Idaho, and a fairly heavy rain mass was moving into the Park at about 0730 on a track that would take it through the NE corner, impacting the Lamar, Slough and Soda Butte, and then maybe the Yellowstone.

The rain is certainly welcome, though your weekend fishing might be impacted by water clarity issues - we’ll follow along with you…..
