Just got this email from Mike at Madison River Fishing Company……
Mark,
Outstanding news! I just talked to Mark @ PPL a couple minutes ago. The last effort with the banded stoplogs worked! They have control of the flows again. Even though the gauge doesn’t read it yet the flow out of Hebgen is 2200 cfs. They’ll now drop it 400 cfs per day for the next several. I imagine they’ll bring it down to 7-800 or so depending on inflow. They still have a chance to get some positive inflow into the reservoir before things freeze up.
I am posting an updated report to our site right now.
Good job and thanks to the crews working on the issue.
