
We could hear fly fisherfolk around the nation, and probably around the world for that matter, heave a collective sigh of relief on Sunday evening when the news first leaked out about the success with the intake tower gates on Hebgen. The most relieved sighs probably came out of Ennis. The pic is a genuine sigh of relief in progress - these real action shots are hard to capture.
Madison flows are being dropped by about 400 cfs every 24 hours or so (another drop is imminent this afternoon).
Lord willin’ and if the creek don’t rise Jake and I are headed over tomorrow to spend the day on a video project over there, and will post some stills tomorrow evening.
