
Turning to BWO strategies….
What about your best strategies for fishing BWOs?
Though most of us would rather fish dry flies, as with almost all aquatic insects nymphing with a Pheasant Tail or a Gold Ribbed Hares Ear will likely be productive, if they’re the right size - think 16-20 pending the water.
The most productive waters are going to be the runs with slower to maybe moderate flow, or the water just downstream from a riffle.
If you’re on BWO water and there’s not much happening, that little PT makes a nifty dropper under your attractor….
