The Fall River should be fishing well - we had a heck of time trying to find someone who’s been in there this past week….

Please review the Bechler River report posted yesterday - the bears really have been an issue of late.

There is only one flow gauge on the Fall that is continuously monitored, it’s on the river outside the Park border, above the Yellowstone Canal near Squirrel, ID.  The river was flowing at 470 cfs this morning at 0545, with today’s average 586 cfs.

We’ve not been on the upper Fall in the Park ourselves in a couple of weeks, and couldn’t find anyone who had been in there despite lots of calls.  Please see our Bechler River report from yesterday - that’s the most current update on the area we’ve got this week….

This area can provide some of the finest fall dry fly fishing in the Park system, and is oft overlooked.  If you’ve been in and have some firsthand information, please fire us an email and we’ll credit you for the data.
