Most of the Park has received significant moisture through the night - rain and snow. By radar just now (about 0825) there is a large mass of snow and freezing rain west of the Park in eastern most Idaho - it’s moving very slowly north / northeast. Interestingly there were some breaks in the cloud cover on the final radar shot that was reviewable just now, mainly along the east side of the Park. The biggest chance of further moisture should be this morning, it will be nippy today, with the sun back out tomorrow.
West Yellowstone is forecast to be mid 30s today, high 40s in afternoon sun tomorrow, and then back into the 50s with sun forecast for the first part of the week, with highs near 60 on Tuesday.
Gardiner will make the low 40s today, with moisture chances again highest in the morning, mid 50s tomorrow, and low 60s starting Monday in the sun….
We’re looking at flows right now and will have a post up to help you think about where to fish today…..
