All of the rivers in the Park (even the Yellowstone River at the lake outlet) that have an internet readable flow gauge have spiked today, not surprisingly given the rainfall / snowfall amounts of the past 24 to 30 hours.  Flows on the Lamar have more than doubled - it’s blown, and no doubt Soda Butte and Slough are too.  The Yellowstone in and out of the Park will be affected over the next few days.

The west side rivers are up, quite a bit, however the Firehole appears to have recently crested and is headed back down.

Be creative and consider some of the smaller waters in the Park, the Madison between the lakes, or the upper most Gallatin.

There is still a large mass of weather west of the Park in north eastern Idaho spinning of snow / freezing rain / and rain this morning.  It’s even still snowing pretty hard here in Bozeman….
