This week’s forecast sure looks different than last week’s.
There are a lot of things in a fisherman’s life that seem to run “against the grain” of how society looks at things - how we look at weather is one of them.
While most of society looks at week of warm and sunny weather in mid fall as a wonderful week of indian summer weather - we fishermen look at indian summer and pine for clouds, cool temperatures, and drizzle.
At least as of this morning, there is not a major precipitation day forecast for the Park in the next 5 days. In this week’s sun, West Yellowstone’s highs will be in the mid to high 50’s all week, with the warm day forecast to be Tuesday.
Gardiner’s highs are forecast to be in the 60s all week, with the warmest day forecast to be Wednesday.
One thing is certain, the forecast will change, and we will all continue to hope that the weather guys and gals are wrong again…..
