We just returned somewhat amazed from a lunch meeting in Bozeman - it’s a breezy 77 here in our “downtown”, and it looks like the weather service just issued a heads up for a windy day in the north south running canyons in south central Montana - wind gusts to 50+ possible today.  That will make things interesting on the Yellowstone, Gallatin, Madison and others this afternoon.  Bozeman’s enjoying the Indian summer day after snow in town four days ago.

Just talked to a buddy in West Yellowstone and he claims it’s already 64 there right now.

By the way we ate at a place called The Garage - this is probably one of the last outdoor lunch days we’ll see in the 70’s here - The Garage is one of our great local places, superb soups, burgers, wings, and sandwiches.   It’s one of our favorites, and a great place to eat on their outdoor patio and watch people (yes the pretty people were out today) - they have indoor seating also for the upcoming (someday) fall and winter weather.  It’s one of the places you must enjoy when traveling to this area.
