Does the Park feel a bit more crowded this summer than last year?
It sure does to us, and statistics released yesterday by YNP support this perception. Compared to a year ago visitation Park wide is up by 9.8% this year as compared to the same time in 2006, and up 9.4% for July comparing 2007 to 2006.
This year so far 1,786,836 people have visited YNP - amazingly only a few (relatively speaking) are avid fly fishermen. I guess those of us who love to fish in the Park shouldn’t complain about that…….
