
Weather is always a topic of interest for fishermen everywhere, and this fall in the Park we’ve had our share of interesting weather swings. After Friday and Saturday’s snow, it will be (relatively) warm and sunny now for a few days.
The forecast for West Yellowstone as of this morning calls for 49 today, 56 Tuesday, and 61 Wednesday, with lots of sun. More clouds on Thursday with a high of 55, and a mention of 49 on Friday with a chance of snow.
The forecast for Gardiner / Mammoth as of this morning calls for 49 today, 54 Tuesday, and 61 Wednesday, with lots of sun. More clouds on Thursday with a high of 52, and a mention of 49 on Friday with a chance of snow.
Don’t put that sunscreen away yet, and be prepared to work a little harder in the sun for the first part of the week anyway.
This time of year in particular the forecast will no doubt change - we know of several parties of guys that are traveling in from long distances this week - we’ve been corresponding with parties from back east, Thailand, and Australia who are coming in this week - we’ll update any changes forecast in the weather - the key is be prepared for anything…
