Just dashed back in from the Park a bit late for a family event, and wanted to post a quick pic.  Spent the afternoon on the Firehole swinging soft hackles to fiesty 8 to 14″ fall colored rainbows.  Not much of a baetis hatch today - sputtering - with a few tiny midges thrown in. 

It was sunny in the low 40s, with just a touch of breeze now and then to knock some ice out of the trees and make you wonder what might be nosing around back there….
