My wife was upset tonight after speaking with a close relative in Texas.

It appears that one of my wife’s sisters in law (a high classed, high heeled Texas babe whose idea of viewing wildlife is shopping at the big mall in Austin on a Saturday afternoon) had made some disparaging remarks about those of us who drive in Montana - something along the lines of Montanans being wild and crazy behind the wheel, and that it’s not fit for man or beast to be on the highways up here. 

I searched the Bozeman Daily Chronicle’s Police Report Archives and found several prime examples of Montana Road Rage Bozeman style -

A passenger in a vehicle on Interstate 90 rolled down the window and mooned the driver of another vehicle - 1 August 2007

A driver on Jackrabbit Lane reported an incident of road rage. A driver threw a flashlight at his vehicle - 26 July 2007

Deputies assisted a disoriented motorist on Interstate 90 who pulled his vehicle into a ditch while wearing no pants, one sock and sunglasses at night - 22 March 2005

I’ve emailed these to my dear sister in law and told her she was right…….
