We assumed most people knew about the different webcams available - but from the views we had on the other webcam links we’ve posted this week (Old Faithful and Mammoth), it appears not everybody knows about these links.

Here’s another good one - a view of Electric Peak and the Yellowstone River just north of Gardiner, Montana run by a company called CoolWorks.com - they place staff in cool outdoor jobs around the country (and sometimes beyond).   Pretty interesting offerings if you’re fantasizing about chucking the office job and heading for the wild - we all think about it now and then.

The upper pic is a still taken from their site today at around 8:30, here’s a link to bookmark if you so desire.  We use this one a lot to check water clarity on the Yellowstone as it leaves the Park, and find the views are much better this time of year in the first half of the day - the way their camera is positioned there’s quite a bit of glare that degrades the picture later in the day.

The lower pic is a shot they have of the webcam itself on their building - looks like Montana, doesn’t it?
