The Museum of the Rockies on the campus of MSU in Bozeman is hosting a collection of Ansel Adams photographs for the next bit - the exhibit started yesterday the 10th and will run through the first week of January 2008. Steve Jackson, Museum Curator of Art and Photography at the Museum of the Rockies, will be presenting a lecture about Ansel Adams and his impressive legacy this next week on the 15th, at 7 PM.
We’re a huge fan of Adams’ work, and have links below to a couple of our favorite books of his. An Ansel Adams photo anthology would make for a great gift for a photography minded outdoor friend….it’s almost the season to start shopping….
