We had posted last evening that the upper Gallatin in the Park was a bit stained when we fished it late in the day yesterday - it still is today (3 PM), but is by all means very fishable. All the major feeders (Fan, Taylor Fork, Specimen, etc) are running pretty darn clean after yesterday’s showers, and it is very clear, windy, and warm (83 at Specimen Creek an hour ago) - it’s hopper time!
I didn’t want to have put anyone off with our report yesterday. Flows never bumped today after yesterdays showers, and it should be even better up there tomorrow.
