We’ve shared a few things about our team here at Best Fly Fishing Yellowstone - we love to fish, we love to read, and we also love to cook and and enjoy fine foods and wines.  We’ve been enjoying Chico’s ambience and food since we first moved to Montana in 1985.

Just around the corner from home here in Bozeman (ok, it’s over the pass to Livingston and down through the Paradise Valley a bit) is Chico Hot Springs Resort.  This world famous resort has served great food for decades, and in May of 2003 Seabring Davis (award winning journalist from Livingston) penned this cookbook with Carol Rublein providing masterful photographs.

Over 100 recipes are included in this very well written and for the most part easy to follow cookbook.  I can still remember first having their Pine Crust Halibut in the early 80’s, and their Orange-Ginger Vinaigrette is outstanding on salads and grilled white fleshed fish, as well as grilled shrimp and scallops.

Worth it just for the pictures, A Montana Table will be a worthy addition to your library - presented on a day we think about great food!
