As I mentioned in another post, today I drove my wife over to Ennis to take in the 12th (I think it’s the 12th) Annual Madison Valley Arts Festival - a very nicely done arts festival featuring good local and regional artists as well as a dozen or so Montana authors. Well worth your time if you have a few hours to burn this afternoon or tomorrow.
While chatting with a very good local photographer about her work and a possible interview for our sites, we ran into the very kind wife of Richard Lessner, PhD, who quickly introduced us to Richard. Richard is the newly appointed director of The Madison River Foundation located there in Ennis; the foundation hosting in three weeks the 5th Annual Ennis on the Madison Fly Fishing Festival over the Labor Day weekend.
Richard very graciously visited with us for a few minutes despite having guests waiting at home, and being pulled in several directions at once. He agreed to chat with us for an interview, and we will get that scheduled quickly so we can update you on the great things the foundation is doing, and tell you more about the upcoming festival. This is one to put on your calendar, and if you can’t make it this year, you need to plan to come next year.
You really never know who you might run into in Ennis……did I mention the time……..
