Wading footwear can make or break a trip - think back to what you wore when you were just starting out - I even wore boot foot rubberized waders a few decades ago, and had sore feet at the end of the day even after just a few hours on the water.

Those days are long gone with the new technologies available today in wading shoes.  I had worn a nice wading boot from Patagonia for years, buying several pairs, until I tried a Simms saltwater flats boot that was incredibly comfortable.

A buddy then suggested I try the Simms L2 Wading Boot, and have fallen in love with the boot.  It feels like a pair of running shoes or light hiking shoes it’s so comfortable, and I never have any foot discomfort at the end of the day now.

These boots have lots of extra features that Simms typically builds into their gear - quick drying mesh and synthetic leather uppers, neoprene lining and tongue gussets, a very sturdy heel frame, and well as an EVA wedge midsole for additional cusion and comfort.

We are walking into the backcountry more and more, and appreciate the lightness of these boots everytime we’re on the trial.

If it’s time to replace those old boots, or upgrade, give these a try…..
