We’re not sure why it’s making the news cycle just now, but Grand Geyser has been much more active since around August of 2005, and has been it appears pretty regularly erupting on an every 5 to 8 day cycle of late.
We’ve called our friend in the Park who said she has caught it once this fall, and she estimates it will be a major attraction for the more hardy winter visitor this year.
