Don’t forget the Ennis on the Madison Fly Fishing Festival this Friday and Saturday - great speakers and exhibits both days, with the BBQ and raffles on Saturday night. A good time for a good cause……

The Gibbon River persists with its split personality this week. The upper river has cooled a bit and sections are quite fishable; the lower is at risk in our opinion.

The Lookout Fire is located about a mile and a half southwest of Heart Lake. The lightning-caused fire was discovered Sunday afternoon. It is about a half-acre in size. This fire will be actively managed as a Wildland Fire Used for Resource […]

The Gardner is still fishing well, particularly in its upper reaches and will get even better as fall approaches.
